This is a false dichotomy; Since scripture is never open to private interpretation, no matter how much we want to believe our positions are solely from God’s word, all of us have presuppositional theology-and that is correct, in most cases; of course, if your theology is correct. God uses His bride to validate, proliferate and protect truth.
2Pet. 1:20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation,
Prov. 11:14 Where there is no counsel, the people fall;
But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.
Prov. 24:6 For by wise counsel you will wage your own war,
And in a multitude of counselors there is safety.
