The proud hold me in utter contempt, but I do not turn away from your instructions. I meditate on your age-old regulations, O Lord, for they comfort me. I become furious with the wicked, because they reject your instructions. (Psalm 119:51-53)

Singing the *Psalms only* is prudent and keeps one safe from death. Does God kill people for illicit worship? Hymnody swings wide the gate that God has placed for our benefit. How does one corral a wild horse? Hymnody is a freedom that bites back; where does one draw the line? Well, you might say, ‘as long as it is biblical’. The Charismatics define ‘biblical’ differently from you! Are they wrong? How would one implement ‘wrong’? What you are left with is a hymnody that must be graded on a curve and a worship that is not directed by God, but men.

Someone please show me how one limits hymnody! What are the rules and how does one determine if one plays within the confines of those rules!
