Matt 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

Taking heaven by force is not compromising in the face of pressure. Consider the saints of Foxe’s day! The true believer is enslaved to the truth that has been revealed to his soul. To embrace deceit is to show you are still dead in your sins. If you can sin willfully, your fruit may be rotten.

Here are two great examples of taking the kingdom with a violent perseverance:

44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: 46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

The Holy Bible: King James Version, Electronic Edition of the 1900 Authorized Version. (Bellingham, WA: Logos Research Systems, Inc., 2009), Mt 13:44–46.

Believers are to sell everything to get that field or that pearl.

Only true believers will know what this means….
