If the book of Acts and the Epistles are our blueprint of how we are to pursue righteousness and none of these documents show the early church amplifying any particular days of the week, outside of the Sabbath, why is it we can feel justified in amplifying days? The great cloud of witnesses that have gone before us rejected the notion! We should yield to their testimony.

The papists keep these days. In fact, the mass is a resacrificing of Christ daily; surely one resurrection is not enough! Lets have one yearly. Well, you might say, “Scott, it is a commemoration, take it easy!” Do we not commemorate the event in the gospel message every day and week? Why is that not enough?
