Test All Things…

Our goal as a believer should be to become more like the image of Christ, daily. How are we to know Christ? Through His word. He is truth as is His word is truth. To be conformed to His image is to be conformed to His word, the bible. To be conformed to the bible is to study that word; to chew on it, digest it, to mull over it and dissect it; to meditate on it-to contrast the outcome of that study with the historic church and forefathers-never privately! Do not get stuck in the mud reading all contemporaries-there are 1000’s of venerable dead who have stood the test of time-go to them as well, if not primarily. Do not position yourself by default, i.e I am dispensational because thats what my church teaches. We are called to test all things (against scripture).
