Long before the Eagle lands to roost, he surveys the area, making sure it is true and safe, then lands.
The believer must as well do the same things; we need to survey the area, choose a field to buy, once having obtained the prospect, dig continuously in search of the pearl of great price. Once it is found, exhaust it’s character, making sure it is true and landing on a conclusion.
Matt 13:44: 44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: 46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

Are you a liberal that just goes with the flow? It is your responsibility to study God’s word; come to some conclusion. Refine. Check your conclusion against history to confirm it is valid and land on it. Be stalwart. Defend the truth. Have a conviction. Fight for that truth. Don’t be like the waves of the ocean being tossed to and fro!
